Chongqing Hongyao Building (Group) Company Limited, ratified by the National Ministry of Construction of P.R.China, was set up as a Grade I enterprise in house construction and engineering in 1982. As the Company kept developing its business, it was so far improved itself to be a cross-regional and cross-industrial corporation.

Thanks to the Qualification Certificate for Foreign Project Contracting of P.R.China (issued by the National Ministry of Commerce of P.R.China) and the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System Certificate, the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate and the ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate, the Company majors in engineering of civil building, city planning and development works, road and bridge projects, water conservancy and hydroelectricity projects, pier and tunnel works, etc. As a cross-industrial corporation, the Company was also engaged in various industries and activities of business and trade. For instance, the Company has a full set and some other resources for producing Chinese orange wine and freeze-dried food; and under the Company there are 3 total assets branch company, a concrete mixing station and an asphalt mixing station; moreover the Company has set up branch offices in Beijing Municipality, provinces of Sichuan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Henan, etc.

By keeping the business ideas in mind that Honesty Comes First, Service Constitutes the Foundation and holding on the spirit of Practice, Innovation, Pursuit of Perfection, the Company kept making greater achievements. It completed lots of construction projects both in China and abroad, including 4 large and influential bridge projects at the northwest part of China and the Three Gorges reservoire area, 23 road projects, 19 riverway and landslide renovation projects, and more than 20 various kinds of residential apartments and community that spread all over cities in the southwest, northwest and middle area of China, with the total construction floor area more than 2,000,000 square metres.

In 2005, the Company started to enter the international construction market. It has successfully set up branch offices in 5 Asian and African countries, and commenced on building works and foreign labour service cooperation and has as yet made fruitful achievements.
